It is conducted with great enthusiasm\, and elaborate preparations are made in the form of life like set up of scenes from the story\, role play by students\, teachers’ presentations (enactment and storytelling) and discussions. SUMMARY:SPORTS WEEK
DESCRIPTION:The much looked forward to gala event of the year was our sports week on the theme “Hum aik hain” was held in December for KG I\, KG II\, class I and II. Preparations went on at hectic pace with students practicing for the sports events and teachers preparing accessories for the great day. The event was a great success. Parents attended and cheered the students. Winners won medals and even those who did not\, went home with shining faces with the pleasure of having participated.

An ‘Oxford Big Read’ National Contest was held by Oxford University Press for book reviews written by students of class I and II onwards. Colgate discovers the artistic talent of the children by calling these future artist at a platform called “Colgate Global Art Contest”. Selected entries were sent.

SUMMARY:WORLD BOOK DAY READING ACTIVITY
DESCRIPTION:The core of our curriculum is based on reading. We enhance children’s knowledge and curiosity by providing opportunities for active reading. To mark the 25th anniversary of World Book Day a reading activity was held for the students of KG II\, Class I and II. Students were asked to practice reading with fluency\, clarity of speech\, expression and pronunciation. All the students participated and read in front of their class mates. This activity helped in developing comprehension skills and enhancing the vocabulary.
